Danskerne mere autentiske?? Det er dog det vaerste vrøvl laenge. Pinlig forskning. Latterlig konklusion.

I found the study and the conclusion very refreshing and my own daily empirical studies (obviously totally non-scientific) tend to confirm Mette Böll's research.
@Peter, by all means disagree, but stand by your words - don't be anonymous.
Thank you very much for your comments. I'm glad I inspired you, Ole, and I'm glad I provoked you, Peter.
When I was invited to give this talk, I desided to take the claim seriously - that we should be so happy - even though I find it hard to believe given the facts about stress and depression (just to mention some), in our population.
However, I wanted to give it positive attention and then point to some factors that could underline this "happiness" claim. There is nothing wrong with the results that shows that pretense is the most stressful condition, we can detect in our biology, and that authentic systemic responses nurture a state of general well-being. Feel free to contact me, if you have an interest in investigating these sets of data closer.
My best wishes

Nonsens.

I thought this was one of the most interesting and useful talks of the day. This is what I took away: What makes us truly unhappy at work is not necessarily to meet unpleasant people (like some of the people commenting here) but to have to pretend that you're happy when you're not.
This is crucial and Danes are indeed used to not having to pretend much at work - as opposed to say Americans who are routinely required to pretend to be happy and customer friendly, even to the rudest of customers.
Wow, Copenhagen must really be an intellectual desert.

If you would go up high, then use your own legs ! Do not let yourselves carried aloft; do not seat yourselves on other people's backs and heads to wowgold.
